I am tremendously grateful to announce that I have sold my second novel THE THREADBARE PRINCE to Black Rose Writing as of last month. For those of you who follow me and support me, you know that the sale of this book has come at the expense of a great effort. I sold my first novel, THE MASSACRE AT YELLOW HILL in the winter of 2017, subsequently releasing last year in March. For those of you who purchased, read, and wrote a review of that book, of whom I am so very thankful, I can tell you that this latest publication is something entirely different than that of the Weird Western you supported.
THE THREADBARE PRINCE is a story about about a war older than any living memory, older than the long-dried ink writ upon any human chronicle. It is populated with stories of honor and betrayal, love and sacrifice. It is a contemporary fantasy tale that draws the strings across the first notes of an empire of song.
The song that sits at the beating heart of my literary cosmos.
It is the story of the embattled Lewis family, of the fabled line of Sigurd the Dragon Slayer. A family who, though mighty in strength, suffered many ills for the sake of all humankind and for each other.
For me, this particular adventure is over. You’ll get your chance in early 2020.
I am so very happy to share this contemporary fantasy novel with you in the coming months. Your support will be essential to the book’s financial success. So please share, like, and comment on posts like this one; for they are ultimately the key in unlocking doors into a wider audience. You can also support me on my Patreon page, which has the added bonus of getting stories from me on a regular basis.
Again, thank you for your support, your time, and, most deeply, your love.
THE THREADBARE PRINCE is set to release in Hardback and Paperback on January 30, 2020.
